Orchard center, Podsreda

 

​​This conceptual project is part of wider research project concerning contemporary architecture of Slovenian region Kozjansko. Through research of traditional architecture and local context we developed some guidelines for future architectural interventions.

 

Private investors want to convert old farm into touristic area with accommodation and leisure activities. They know that to attract tourists they have to give them something different from other providers. They can give them great views, peace, nature, privacy and good origin for sports activities. One of the buildings is investors private house, rebuilt from existing one.
