Two houses in Sedlarjevo
This conceptual project is part of wider research project concerning contemporary architecture of Slovenian region Kozjansko. Through research of traditional architecture and local context we developed some guidelines for future architectural interventions.
Concept for two individual houses is developed from urban tradition and typical way of construction in this settlement. Residential buildings are build from brick, service building are wooden. We combined this principles and create house mad from two parts - wooden service area and masonry flexible living area. Smaller volumes and traditional materials help this houses to blend in the surrounding context and offer flexible spaces to potential buyers.
